Standing On The Promis= e

I see an open door opportunity for this church.

Your real success in life is based= on walking in obedience in what He is calling you to do.

There is a time of stepping out

Joshua 18:3

Then Joshua said to the children of Israel: "How long will you neglect to go and possess the land which the LORD G= od

of= your fathers has given you?(NKJV)

We could ask ourselves the same question today

If God has a position for us to be in---a = land to possess---how long will we neglect it?

Pleading and begging for the land doesn= 217;t work.

Just thinking about the land doesn’t mean possessing it.

Genesis 12:1-3

Now the LORD had said to Abram: "Get out of your country, From your family And from your father's house, To a land that=

I = will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your na= me great; And you shall be a blessing. I will

bl= ess those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."(NKJV)

That would take real obedience and commitm= ent.

What if God has a plan for us to move out in fai= th and walk in a land of promise?

Hebrews 11:8-9

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go= out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out,

not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac

and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise;(NKJV)

By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country

By faith He is dwelling in Canaan but doesn’t own any land.

He has no permanent dwelling.<= /p>

He can’t evict trespassers.

He doesn’t see it in the natural realm but= He is standing on it.

He did all of this by faith!!<= /u>

Let’s revisit the definition of faith=

The Greek word is pis-tis<= /b>

Assurance, conviction of the truth of anything

Hebrews 11: 1 AMP says

The assurance

The confirmation

The title deed

Proof of things we do not see<= /p>
Conviction of their reality

Perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to = the senses

We know that without faith it is impossible to please God.

We know that faith comes from God alone.

I believe faith gives us the ability to believe-= --- the action part of faith.

Believe means- to think to be true, be persuaded of

What is it that makes us give up?

But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for = he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For

We could move out in our area of calling, get discouraged and move back to where we were.

We have faith regarding our salvation but doubt = the rest of the provision

2 Corinthians 1:20

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and = in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.(NKJV)

The Lord has put in many of you a knowing that y= ou would be used by Him in a powerful way.

Let’s read this verse about Abraham again<= o:p>

They key thing was that he was willing to go

An openness and willingness to the Spirit of the Lord

The Lord is asking us for openness and willingne= ss to house what He wants to see accomplished.

It’s a place of increased effectiven= ess because of God’s influence

If you head up a program in this church I want y= ou to take on a new attitude.

This is God’s program ----Expect God’s multiplication in what you are doing.

Dismiss the wavering from your mind----((T= his stops the multiplication))

We accept and believe this by faith.<= /span>

As a praise and worship team we expect the anointing because we have ask for it and have put ourselves in a position

to receive it.

I encourage everyone in here to let go of the negative confessions and thinking.

Why----Our effectiveness in the = Kingdom of God depends on it.

Abraham could have operated from home base.

It may suit our natural minds to operate from wh= ere we have always been.

Negative confessions a= nd thinking attracts thing we don’t want

The new land is a land of promise---What’s= the promise

We are more than conquerors

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

That everything will work together for good

God will supply all of your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus

We have authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing by

any means shall hurt us.

Sometimes we stand in home position gazing off in the distance at the land of promise.

Let’s look at an important promise

The parable of the sower says

We sow the word

Some seed is taken away by Satan from the hearts= of people

Some seed it sown on stony ground and without ro= ots they stumble

Some seed is sown among thorns they hear the word but the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches

choke the word becoming unfruitful.

Is that the end of the parable of the sower?—Sometimes we stop there in our thinking.

Nothing works!!

We left out one important thing---God’s po= wer and influence

Mark 4:20

But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold,

so= me sixty, and some a hundred."(NKJV)

This more than offsets the unfruitfulness in the first part of the parable.

God never said He would commission you to do something without His powerful influence in it.

1 Corinthians 3:6-7

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters,

but God who gives the increase.(NKJV)=

We don’t get our eyes on the ineffectivene= ss but the 30-60-100 fold increase

Keeping and maintaining this mindset is the new land.

When you go there with your faith you on purpose stand on the promise.

The 30 –60 and 100 fold increase is there = when you make a stand

We could contemplate the promise—study it---talk about it----wonder if it is true or not or go stand on it=

Let’s stand on the promise<= span style=3D'font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt'> ---let’s dare to believe it.

Be ready for opportunities to share your faith t= his week.

I forever refuse to embrace the mindset of ineffectiveness with God’s involvement.

This concept works in every area of your life.
