Recognizing that we can go to the next level is pointless unless we can accomplish it by an act of our will.

We made a commitment to on purpose allow more God influence in our lives.

Victorious Christian living has a lot to do with= our concept of God and our relationship with Him.

Fascinated- Dictionary Defintion

To attract and hold attentively by a unique powe= r, personal charm, unusual nature, or some other special

qu= ality; enthrall

The more I learn about God the more fascinating = He becomes.

The more I get to know Him the more enthra= lled and captivated I am b= y His essence.

This is important to Victorious Christian Living.

Some may say what is it that is so fascina= ting about God.

In a short time I will try to paint a rough sket= ch.

What is it that we know about God?

Omnipresent- exis= ts everywhere---no boundaries to His existence

Omnipotent- All powerful and has no limits ---infinitude

Omniscient - possessing all knowledge

These facts may stir awe and wonder but maybe not fascination.

The bible distinctly states three things----that= God is

Love

Holy

Light

God is the perfect personification= of love since He is love.

I will explain more about the fascination = regarding His love a little later.

1 John 1:5 says that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

1 Timothy 6:16

who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom

be= honor and everlasting power. Amen.(NKJV)

A light so brilliant and spectacular that it is unapproachable.

John recorded his account of heaven.<= /span>

Revelation 21:23

The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.(NK= JV)

The sun has no illumination compared to the <= u>brilliance and radiance of the almighty God.&= nbsp;

The bible declares that God is holy.

This essence of God’s holiness is un= appreciated until understood.

In Isaiah Chapter six Isaiah sees the Lord high = and lifted up and the train of His robe filled the temple

Let’s look at the response of the Seraphim=

Isaiah 6:2-3

Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his

fe= et, and with two he flew. And one cried to another and said: "Holy, holy, = holy is the LORD of hosts;

The whole earth is full of His glory!"(NKJV= )

The seraphim only need two wings to fly and with= two he covered his face and with two covered his feet.

Why did they cover their face and feet---what are they saying?

Holy Holy Holy is the Lord of host---the whole earth is full of His glory

Covering their faces--Unable to look upon the dazzling glory and infinite perfections of His being.

I believe when Isaiah saw this all of his = self-esteem was shattered

I a brief second he was exposed beneath the gaze= of the absolute standard of holiness.

When Elijah heard God’s still small voice = he wrapped his face in his mantle

He dared not to look upon God.=

In Exodus 3:6 Moses hid his face, for he was afr= aid to look at God.

Unable to endure the sight of God with open face= .

Let’s look as some attributes of God that = we haven’t discussed

Overhead- Attributes of God----not totally inclu= sive

Self-Existent =

Immortal = &nb= sp; He had no beginning and has no end

Infinitude = &nb= sp; He has no boundaries

Immensity = &nb= sp; limitless in every realm

Goodness = kindhear= ted-benevolent in intention

Justice = &nb= sp; absolutely and perfectly just

Mercy = &nb= sp; showing compassion and forbearance = &nb= sp;

Grace = &nb= sp; Unmerited favor

Perfection = The highest possible degree of excellence

Sovereign = In control of everything - free to do what He wants

Faithful = &nb= sp; Never failing

Immutability = He never changes

Realizing and understanding all of God’s attributes may incite amazement and wonder but still fall short =

of fascination.

Fascination comes not only from knowing about Hi= m but knowing Him.

Philippians 3:10

[For my determined purpose is] that I may know H= im [that I may progressively become more deeply and

intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person <= /p>

more strongly and more clearly], and that I may = in that same way come to know the power outflowing from

His resurrection [which it exerts over believers= ], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually

transformed [in spirit into His lik= eness even] to His death, [in the hope](AMP)

progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him

= &nb= sp; = ((Is that possible)) &nb= sp; yes

Perceiving and understanding the wonders of His person

The word know in the Greek is Ginosko meaning to know or perceive

It is the Jewish idiom for intimacy in a marriag= e relationship

It refers to a knowing by experience. Not by knowledge alone<= /span>

What else do we know about God?

Remember that God established the law<= /b>-----He also established a penalty for not fully performing the law

Jesus---Emmanuel --God with us---took the penalt= y of violating the law

The law that God established.----

Why did He do that?

For God so loved the world……

But how great was His love?

There is a width, length, height and depth of His love according to Ephesians 3:18.

Ephesians 3:19

[That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which

far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [thro= ugh all your being] unto all

the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and

fl= ooded with God Himself]!(AMP)

His love far surpasses mere knowledge without experience--Explain

Being filled unto all the fullness of God

Becoming a body wholly filled and flooded with G= od Himself.

God provided a door through Jesus Christ that we might know Him and have access to Him even though we

ha= ve violated His law.

Now the fascination begins.

Realizing the concept of His greatness, sp= lendor and brilliance of His being yet full of love, goodness, mercy and compassion that we can experience.

God’s Provision For Mankind

He became the sacrifice for our sins.

By His grace He saved us through the faith that He gave us.

He redeemed us.

We are regenerated and made spiritually alive unto Him.

He justified us.

We are freed from the law of sin and death.<= /p>

He made us a new creation in Him giving us newness of life.

He changed our hearts and writes His law upon them.=

He transforms us by the renewing of our minds.

We are made complete in Him.

We are hid with Christ in God.

He allows us the privilege of prayer

He allows us to use His name.

We are indwelled by the Holy Spirit

He gives us the Holy Spirit to comfort us and guide us into al= l truth.

He produces spiritual fruit in us by His Spirit.

He gives us spiritual gifts.

He provides the baptism of the Holy Spirit to empower us.=

He provides for emotional and physical healing.

He gave us His word.

He continues to sanctify us and change us.

We are made heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.

We are made sons and daughters.

His Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are His children..

His Spirit seals us.

We are made a priesthood of believers unto Him.

We have access to the holy of holies

We can boldly enter the throne of grace.

He gives us spiritual kingdom authority.

This is an unbelievable endowment of unmerited favor.

Through experiencing these things-= --not just knowing about them

we become fascinated with God.=

Not only fascinated but drawn by His irresistible love.

=

Overwhelmed and captivated----=

To know Him is to love Him.

=

Since love gives in our own feeble human attempt we offer = to God what He determines to be of great value to Him.

Our love in return----Mark 12:30-31

The more we know God and endeavor to understand = the fullness of what He has done cause an abundance

heart condition.

Then out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

The startling revelations of His greatness= are amazing but to fully understand what He has done is mind blowing.

The question is the return of our love.

In the way that we live

In the way that we serve

In the way that we give

It’s indicated in our submission and willingness also in the way that we praise and worship Him.

When we operate in these realms, more fascination in the natural result.

The greatest exhilaration and high= is being in the presence of almighty God.

God allows us this tremendous privilege.

God created us to be able to enjoy Him---Delight= ing ourselves in Him

For many worshiping God is spirit is undiscovered territory but nevertheless a fascinating realm

David writes

Psalm 8:4

What is man that You are mindful of him

God places great value upon you.

A necessary part of our journey is the increase = of our fascination and love of God, which only comes

th= rough knowing Him and experiencing Him.
