A God Experience
Experience- A particular instance of encountering
something, to meet with, something personally encountered
At salvation our desires and passions are
changed through the initial work of sanctification.
God allows us to be called sons and daught=
ers
as well as friends
God provided all of this before we ever do anyt=
hing
for Him.
God affects our lives in many ways sometimes we
experience what God provides but not God Himself.
God provides for us in many ways.
Air, water, Food, clothing, shelter, sources of
income,
God answers prayer concerning our finances and
relationships.
Yet many times through this process we never rea=
lly
experience Him—We never encounter Him.
Attending church does not necessarily =
mean
you experienced God.
Reading the bible doesn’t necessa=
rily
mean you have experienced God.
Saying a prayer to God doesn’t m=
ean we
will experience Him
Serving God doesn’t means you have experienced=
Him
The meeting to experience Him is all up to us.
The invitation is always open.
Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone
hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him,=
and
he with Me.(NKJV)
This refers to salvation but so much more.
God is waiting on you for that meeting-----In th=
at
meeting you will experience Him.
A few years ago we heard the phrase seek the Fac=
e of
God and not the hand of God.
2 Chronicles 7:14
if My people who are called by My name will humb=
le
themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, the=
n I
will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.(NKJV=
)
Who is He talking to here? =
My people
Humbles ourselves
Pray
Seek His face
Turn from our wicked ways
Then He will hear and forgive sins and heal their
land.
Many times I see frustrated Christians because t=
heir
prayers aren’t being answered.
Psalm 37:4
Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you
the desires of your heart
If God is really God how fabulous would it be to
experience Him in a greater way?
Since God is a Spirit He must be experience from=
spirit
to Spirit.
Worship is a tremendous way to experience God.
How does God feel about worship?
John 4:23-24
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true
worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is
seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must
worship in spirit and truth."(NKJV)
What is a true worshipper? =
Matthew 15:8
'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, =
And
honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.(NKJV)
A true worshipper is one who draws near with the=

mouth and honors Him with their lips----with their full heart engaged.
John 4:23 said they would worship in Spirit and =
in
truth
Spirit to Spirit- it’s impossible =
for an
unbeliever to worship in spirit since they are spiritually dead unto God.

The verse said the Father is seeking such to wor=
ship
Him.
If God is seeking something ----does that
interest you?
I like doing something God likes.
Any time true adoration and worship is expressed=

Spirit and in Tuth
God shows up.
If God inhabits praise He certainly does worship=
.
Every true worship experience is a God experienc=
e.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a God
experience----

experience like? ---
What does God allow us to experience when we
experience Him?
Peace
Joy---------------In His presence is fullness of=
joy
Love =
God is light---God is Holy---God is love
In His Presence is
Supernatural delight---happiness---a tremendous
sense of well-being
Why? Because He is God!!!
We also experience supernatural change.
2 Corinthians 3:18
And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because w=
e]
continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lo=
rd,
are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing
splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the
Lord [Who is] the Spirit.(AMP)
The more we experience and encounter Him the mor=
e we
become like Him.
If your struggling with sin the answer is not to
beat yourself up.
Start experiencing Him

The phrase seek the Lord is found 27 times in the
