Our Purpose

Purpose <= /span>the reason for which something exists. The object = for which something exists or is done

Revelation 4= :11

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and = honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are = and were created. (KJV)

The word ple= asure means will, desire, His good pleasure

Everything that exists had a God given purpose.

All of creation fulfills its God given objective.

Anything that brings glory to Him does so by fulfilli= ng its God given objective and intent.

Everything brings glory and honor to Him in its entirety except m= ankind

Our existence is for worship------to show forth adoration from our hearts

Psalm 103:1<= o:p>

Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His hol= y name!(NKJV)

The word bless means to praise implying a s= trong affection for.

Are we fulfilling our eternal purpose to bring glory to Him?

A flower bringing forth a magnificent bloom is a tremendous illustration of worship.

A flower without understanding of its purpose to bring forth a bloom has no reason to grow.

Only when a rose blooms and opens will the fragrance come forth.

A heart opening and unfolding unto God with adoration is a thing of beauty to Him.

The innermost heart is like a flower.--- Even though it is there, as long a= s it remains a bud you will not be able to experience its beauty

Is God really looking for the worshipping heart?=

John 4:23

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. (NKJV)

Worship isn’t our only purpose but our foremost purpose.

How do we come up with the worship?-------= By revelation---then by recognition of that revelation

2 Corinthians 4:6

For it is the God who commanded light to shine o= ut of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge= of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.(NKJV)

with the knowledge of the glory of God, revelation of His glory<= /b>----through Jesus Christ

Through revelation of His glory

We recognize His glory------through worship = and adoration

We experience His glory

Luke 6:45

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart br= ings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.(NKJV)

The glory of the Lord is the highest purpose in = all things

We seek to exalt Him by delighting in His glory.

Through the abundance of revelation through Jesus Christ our natural response should be recognition through worship

Our meritorious efforts are whisk away by one br= eath from His nostrils.

Our natural response as the redeemed is the God ordained response or worship.

To not worship is like having an appointme= nt and missing it.

To have a photograph with your family and = you missing it.

Church are like plant that have many blooms—some bud but never bl= ossom.

Is your worship calling to a level higher than y= ou are prepared to give it.

Ephesians 3:19

[That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses = mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your be= ing] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]! (A= MP)

Worship is extravagant in its purpose=

Mark 14:3

And being in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, as He sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster flask of ve= ry costly oil of spikenard. Then she broke the flask and poured it on His head.(NKJV)

Psalm 29:2

Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. (NKJV)

Worship is a giving of the glory due Him.

The enemy knows the extreme value of worship and adoration to God.
