self-control issues on some level.<o:p></o:p></span></h2>

<p class=3DMsoNormal>Galatians 5:17</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal>For the desires of the flesh are opposed to the [Holy]
Spirit, and the [desires of the] Spirit are opposed to the flesh (godless h=
uman
nature); for these are antagonistic to each other [continually withstanding=
 and
in conflict with each other], so that you are not free but are prevented fr=
om
doing what you desire to do. (AMP)</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal>Galatians 5:22-23</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal>But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
Against such there is no law.(NKJV)</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal>He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And=

who rules his spirit than he who takes a city. (NKJV)</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal>A hot-tempered man stirs up strife, But the slow to an=

calms a dispute (NASB)</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal>1 Corinthians 9:27</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal>But [like a boxer] I buffet my body [handle it roughly,
discipline it by hardships] and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming =

others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, I myself should become unfit

<p class=3DMsoNormal>To this end I also labor, striving according to His wo=

<p class=3DMsoNormal>Self-Control is also learning to be content in a socie=
ty
that tells us we need to have more.</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal>Practicing self-control means that we are able to prio=
ritize
things in life and get things in order.</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal>Philippians 3:12-14</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal>Not that I have already attained, or am already perfec=
ted;
but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also
laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but o=
ne
thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to
those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the
upward call of God in Christ Jesus.(NKJV)</p>

use of all earthly enjoyments.</p>
