More Than Conquerors

Romans 8:35

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril= , or sword? (NKJV)

Romans 8:37

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (NKJV)

We are invited to contemplate the Christian in the cha= racter of a conqueror.

Ephesians 6:12

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but aga= inst principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this = age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (NKJV)

Ephesians 6:10

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the= power of His might. (NKJV)

God allows us to meet opposition---But equips us to meet that opposition

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither= death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threateni= ng nor things to come, nor powers, Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in = all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (AMP)

Things will try to separate you from y= ou dependency on God.

There is a natural tendency to equip ourselves with wh= at we think is necessary to win the battle.

Sometimes we don’t feel like conquerors---much l= ess more than conquerors

Romans 8:31

What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us= , who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?](AMP)

It’s so easy to forget about the Lord’s influence in our daily battles

We are more than conquerors in every situation, circumstance, diagnosis or disaster.

Not being delivered from all these thing= s, but being triumphant in all these things.

2 Timothy 1:13

Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have he= ard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. (NKJV)

There is no retreat----no running from the enemy. The verse says Hold fast- we don’t give up anything. Satan= may destroy your self -confidence, but never your faith.

Philippians 3:10

that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection,= and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, (NKJV)

We aren’t guaranteed against suffering but that = we can be more than conquerors

1 Corinthians 15:57

But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making= us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ.(AMP)

1 John 5:4

For whatever is born of God is victorious over the wor= ld; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith. (AMP)
