God’s Extreme Worth

This week we will concentrate on revelation from= the Lord which will get into a better position to receive.

This verse is referring to Jesus

Hebrews 1:3

He is the sole expression of the glory of God [t= he Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfe= ct imprint and very image of [God's] nature, upholding and maintaining and gui= ding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, = He sat down at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high, (AMP)<= /span>

Jesus perfectly reflecting the maj= esty of God ---His glory the essence of light that He is

The word declares that God is light but also that Jesus is = the light of the world

We can’t operate effectively with a diminished or incomplete view of God.

Let me say it a different way---With increased revelation of God from God we c= an go places where we were limited in the past.

God’s Extreme Worth=

God’s worth or His qualities, His essence exists in a very high degree exceeding = the normal, usual or expected.

God’s extreme wo= rth exceeds the expected.   Natural understanding

It’s only possible to grasp this truth in a spiritual manner as a result of revelation.

What is it that we know about God?---(let’s rev= isit some truths)

Omnipresent    existing everywhere at= the same time

Omnipotent    He holds all power- He has unlimited power

Omniscient    God is all knowing

The bible tells us three things about God’s that exist in His essence.

God is Holy       separate---set apart--- a word devoted entirely to God.

God is Light        =    li= ght makes vision possible

God is Love        = (not only that God loves but love is His essence)

The following things we know about God would indicate his attributes=

An attribute is an inherent characteristic

   Jehovah God=

God is a merciful God        =             Deuteronomy   4:31=

The Lord our God is one Lord       Deuteronomy 6:4

God is a jealous God        =             &nb= sp; Deuteronomy 6:15

God is gracious        =             &nb= sp;           II Chronicles 30:9

God is mighty        =             &nb= sp;            = Job 36:5

God is great        =             &nb= sp;            =      Job 36:26

God is true        =             &nb= sp;            =        John 3:33

God is a spirit        =             &nb= sp;            = John 4:24

God is able        =             &nb= sp;            =        II Corinthians 9:8

The Lord is longsuffering        =         Number 14:18

God is sovereign        =             &nb= sp;          Ephesians 1:11

God is supreme        =             &nb= sp;            I chronicles&nb= sp; 29:11-12

Again the reality of this goes beyond our human intellect

1 Chronicles 29:11-12

Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the maje= sty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LO= RD, And You are exalted as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, = And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to = make great And to give strength to all.(NKJV)

Glory meaning beauty and splendor

A beauty and brilliance in the essence of God.

His beauty emanates from His creation.

Even though God is a spirit His beauty and brilliance exists to extreme degrees

In the natural white light contains three primary colo= rs

Red----blue----yellow

In the absence of the three primary colors the result = is black.

In equal proportion of the three primary colors we get white light

Even though the white light look understood on the surface there is a deeper revelation of the l= ight----red blue and yellow

God exist as one being----yet Father Son and Holy Spiri= t

Where God’s glory is manifest a splendor and radianc= e is experienced.

Getting into a position to receive also means having a proper understanding of the position of Christ.

Jesus Christ was not just a messenger from Jehovah -- = Jesus is God

Daniel 10:6 says

his face like the appeara= nce of lightning, his eyes like torches of fire

Revelation 1:16 says

His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.(<= /span>NKJV)

God wants to continue to give us increased revelations= of His extreme brilliance----His extreme worth

An increased revelation of His magnificence.

We have to ask for the revelation.

With revelation we have an increase in faith

Romans 10:17

Faith cometh by hearing and heari= ng by the word of God.

The Rhema----the word of G= od spoken into the heart of the believer

Not limited to a word on faith or provision but about = God Himself.

Psalm 119:130

The entrance and unfolding of Your= words give light; their unfolding gives understanding (discernment and comprehension) to the simple. (AMP)

The word entrance here in the Hebrews means opening, unfolding, entrance

Discernment and comprehension thr= ough revelatory Rhema words.

Have you ever wondered what stops or restricts the flo= w of God’s power?

Certainly caused by our doubt, limited thinking and faith level

Our doubt, limited thinking and faith level affected by our limited understanding

Some advice   spend everyday this next week contemplating the extreme worth of God.

Ask for continued revelation   -----   Fast this week to increase y= our spiritual sensitivity

Our ability to receive is limited by our concept of His greatness, his willingness and vastness of His provision.=
